September 12 Natural Dye Day
We dye will a variety of natural dyes over a fire at Forest Glen Preserve. You can bring or purchase samples to dye yourself, or just come see all the beautiful colors. Find out more information here.
Fall Fusion Fest
We will have a booth in downtown Urbana where we will be demonstrating and also showing off some of the beautiful items made by our guild members. More info about the festival here.
Show and Sale
This is our big event of the year! The Champaign-Urbana Spinners and Weavers Guild Annual Show and Sale takes place the first weekend in November. You’ll find a variety of high-quality handmade goods for sale including: handspun yarn, woven, knitted, and crocheted garments and accessories, needle- and wet-felted items, handwoven baskets, kitchen and table linens, dyed textiles, and much more. We also have demonstrations of a variety of crafts.
